Instructions
Begin by preparing the honey-lavender syrup: In a small saucepan, combine 2 cups of hot water with the honey. Over medium heat, stir the mixture until the honey is completely dissolved in the water.
Once the honey mixture is ready, add the dried culinary lavender. Remove the saucepan from the heat and cover it, allowing the lavender to infuse for about 15 minutes.
After the steeping period, strain the honey-lavender syrup through a fine mesh sieve directly into a pitcher.
To the pitcher, add in the freshly squeezed lemon juice, followed by the remaining 2 cups of cold water. Stir the mixture thoroughly until all components are well incorporated.
Taste your lemonade to ensure it meets your desired sweetness. If you find it too tart, feel free to add more honey to enhance the sweetness or dilute it further with additional water.
Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and chill the lemonade for at least 30 minutes.
When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled lemonade over the top. Garnish each serving with a slice of lemon and a sprig of fresh lavender.
Notes
Adjust sweetness by adding more honey or water as needed.
